BODIN

This Hinsdale residence was designed an out-of-town couple to enjoy during their regular visits to Chicago. The relatively new house provided a clean foundation, that was ready for Michael to tailor more precisely to suit the client’s lifestyle. He eliminated the traditional dining area and expanded the Great Room seating arrangement creating abundant space for entertaining large informal parties. The original Living Room was repurposed to become a multi-functional Salon space with an expanding dining table that can easily accommodate seating from 4-10. When not being used for dining, the head chairs flanking the fireside are perfectly proportioned for an intimate chat or relaxing with a good book.
